THE EVENT
As part of its logistics management partnership with the high-end sports nutrition brand Etixx – Sports Nutrition, the Lab Services team was involved in the Paris-Roubaix Challenge cyclosportive event on 9 April 2016 as well as the B2RUN events in Nice on 26 April and Bordeaux on 12 May.
B2RUN launched in France in 2015 and is the largest corporate running series in Europe. The events cover a 6 km route and are reserved for company employees, whether running enthusiasts or beginners, to share the values of the sport among colleagues. Some 23 events were held in the series in Europe in 2015 (in Germany, France and Switzerland) bringing together 145,000 runners representing 6,150 companies. In 2016, 5,300 cycling enthusiasts took the start at the 6th edition of the Paris-Roubaix Challenge to tackle the legendary cobbles of northern France, following a route renowned in cycling history.
The LAB Services team handled the event logistics for Etixx – Sports Nutrition for all three events. LAB Services promoted the brand’s sports nutrition products by building and fitting out a stand, distributing products before and after the races and highlighting Etixx – Sports Nutrition communication tools.
