Worldskills

For the second year, WORLDSKILLS FRANCE entrusted LAB Services to oversee the National Finals of the Olympiades des Métiers – the Skills Olympics – in Caen.

No fewer than 10,000 students and craft professionals attended to watch the competitions between the best practitioners in the manual trades.

Despite the size constraints of the stand, our design team provided three areas: a space for the skills battles, a reception area and accommodation for the client’s 12 partners.

LAB Services teams coordinated the project with WORLDSKILLS FRANCE to set up the stand featuring the three different areas at the Caen Exhibition Centre.

From drawing up the plans for the stand, to specifying the power requirements and arranging access, all the necessary stages were completed without problem.

The dedicated project manager coordinated service providers to ensure the project was a success, from delivering the containers, building the structure and installing carpets to manufacturing the communication resources.
